Via diverse (Chinese) webshops wordt helaas namaak FONTINI-schakelmateriaal aangeboden. Deze producten zijn van slechte kwaliteit en kunnen zelfs gevaarlijk zijn bij installatie of gebruik. Door deze inferieure kwaliteit komen deze producten nooit in aanmerking voor een Europees veiligheidskeurmerk. Dit betekent dat installateurs ze niet zullen monteren en dat verzekeraars bij brand door kortsluiting niet uitbetalen.

Let op bij nepproducten:

• Vaak staat er alleen een CE-markering vermeld, wat in veel gevallen slechts “China Export” betekent.

• Soms staat er een RoHS-markering vermeld, dat enkel aangeeft dat er geen verboden giftige stoffen in het product zitten.

Dit zegt echter niets over elektrische veiligheid, betrouwbaarheid of brandveiligheid.

Unfortunately, various (Chinese) webshops are offering counterfeit FONTINI switchgear. These products are of poor quality and can even be dangerous during installation or use. Due to their inferior quality, these products never qualify for a European safety certification. This means that professional installers will not install them, and insurance companies will not pay out in case of fire caused by short circuits.

Watch out for fake products:

• They often display only a CE marking, which in many cases simply means “China Export.”

• Sometimes a RoHS marking is shown, which only indicates that no prohibited toxic substances are present in the product.
